Worse thing is there's talk of another antediluvian (ex-EMI?) taking his place, or at least getting an overpaid job there.

I wonder how the big corporations are surviving. I'd have thought the inevitable collapse would have happened by now. Still, I do seem to be several years ahead of events. Always have been.

And now they've appointed someone else shafted in the Universal/EMI buyout: Jason Iley. Been at Roc Nation for a matter of months, now how long at Sony Music UK?

Goodness me; Jason won a Tip Sheet award when a junior executive; got promoted way above his abilities to run Mercury; messed up Orson though he clearly still read the Tip Sheet as we picked up on them first; now he gets this. Wonder if he's learned anything? Let's watch his influence on the BPI.
