Sadly the answer is - who cares?
The BPI is not only toothless but useless.
Protection of copyright is a disaster. The Brits are ghastly and nobody watches them - they will soon be cancelled.
Music stars are minor, temporary blips on the horizon of media.
Music is so unimportant to most peoples' lives these days, they don't care - let alone spread the word.
Record companies are run by morons.
The charts mean fuck all. What's No1? Who knows? Who cares?

And the BPI is responsible for all this.

I care and IMO there's only one man passionate enough about music and the industry to do it. Do you want it though JK?

Death, taxes and the fact that JK will never be the boss of the BPI.

But wouldn't it be wonderful? A UK internet radio and TV station playing brilliant music. Massive expansion of UK music internet retail. A decent BRITS every year. And a weekly TV chart show with massive ratings (like Entertainment USA and No Limits used to get). Paradise. Perhaps that's what it will be when I move into the next world.
