When older Pointless contestants are asked which category they would like to see, often say MUSIC. Younger people very rarely choose music. Music just isn't of great interest to the under 30s these days. Specific genres - garage, rap - are but not the overall category.

And the oldies are praying the questions aren't on anything 2000 onwards.

Since I stopped buying CD's and switched to Spotify a few years ago I find I listen to music sometimes without knowing who it's by, often not knowing the name of the song or the album it's from and as for the artwork?!

Shame really, I know names of albums I've never owned and can picture the covers purely because I would see them whilst shopping for music in record shops.
