Clean Bandit 10 Years, 12 Months ago

Rather Be is clearly the Record of the Year so far; it is SO well made. But I see it appears to have missed out in America. Can this be correct? If so - why? I know the entire music industry has gone into melt down but it's not brain surgery with a smash like this (or Get Lucky or Gangnam Style).

I'm not entirely sure how the US charts work but according to the Wiki page it was #1 on US Bubbling Under Hot 100 (Billboard) and #9 on US Dance/Electronic Songs (Billboard), whatever they are.

Great chart places in most other countries although do you get the feeling Canada didn't quite get it?!

It may be down to the style, it's got an unusual sound, a bit "dance" in some places and a bit 2-step in others. I seem to remember 2-step wasn't received well in the US, maybe that's it?
