I hear that it is difficult to find "Soley" because there is a discrepancy in the spelling between Youtube, Itunes and possibly Amazon and people are just swamped with Spice girl stuff and the other Space girls.

Yes I rather think the_sp@ce_girls - which I thought clever - was a name mistake - I did the same with Genesis which ended up in the religious music sections 45 years ago. It never seems to come up on searches. But we need airplay (especially in clubs this summer). Hopefully a DJ will play it at Glastonbury.

I really urge you to promote it like mad and get the girls to perform at the pride festivals this summer.

That song ticks all the boxes to be a hit: It's banal, frothy, and has a repetitive hook you've probably heard before but can't remember where. It's the sort of wallpaper music no one consciously takes notice of when they're having a pint of Guinness and gazing up at the sky...

So how many units will they need to shift to get it to No.1? 550? It certainly won't have to be an astronomical number!

P.S. If you did bother to take notice of the words you might get the wrong end of the stick. Isn't there a shop in the Kings Road called R Soles?

Indeed ITK - a No2 for Middle of the Road but generally ignored as it never made No1 - the reason I decided to do a new version of it.

Damn you Ken! I just can't get that hook out of my head now, and I've only listened to the track twice...
