on BBC4 tonight (7.30pm) - not seen it for about 20 years but remember it as being rather "fresh" and hadn't dated quite like some of those other pop movies. Catch Us If You Can is badly dated but of course the music is fantastic, worse pop movie is Gonks Go Beat music is legendary. Anyone remember What A Crazy World ? Watched it and loved it. My God those songs were/still are great. Apart from knowing many people in the movie (see the Your Views thread) and recognising almost every filming venue, it was great spotting certain trademark John Lennon gestures (he sings with his lips often automatically covering his teeth, which he thought were too large) and other amusing details (oh those Sixties).
