There's an element of the music industry which simply takes adequate performers who look OK and provides professional sounding but soul-less tracks - sometimes a gem emerges (One Direction's Beautiful) - sometimes it needs some character added by someone else later (Impossible). Usually it doesn't and dear Pixie is a fine example.

When they do the standard promotion (she was on BBC Breakfast this morning) they come up with those loathsome cliches (Album Launch... ugh).
