This place is the finest food emporium I've seen on this island. Excellent design, bright, well laid out, great parking on five underground levels, restaurant, coffee shops - and free in store tea/coffee (one).

How they got planning permission in the centre of historic Dorking, I do not know. Its 25,000 square feet - about the size of three football pitches. Seems larger - but it'll do nicely for my weekly food gathering exercise.

It sounds like John Lewis have created a masterpiece on our doorsteps. I'm trying to find out if they've got any suitable jobs going down there... Who'd have thought, and in Dorking too! Very impressive. Sainsbury's had better get their act together; it's very hit and miss as to whether they've got half of what you're looking for sometimes...
