TOPIC: John Carter on SOTS
#122575
John Carter on SOTS 10 Years, 7 Months ago
Ivy League Funny How Love Can Be - John went on to make Beach Baby for me at UK Records - one of the ten best summer tracks ever. John is still alive and well. A very talented and under rated guy.

I concur about Beach Baby. One of my favourite tracks. So infectious. John Carter should be proud of it.

I always liked Sweet And Tender Romance by Carter Lewis & The Southerners on Oriole.

John Carter put out a compilation of his works a long time back and copies can still be found, Amazon has a listing for it:

Beach Baby is a great JK.

My favourite cover version of Funny How Love Can Be is by Rockin' Berries.

Also one of his first hits - huge in America on Laurie - A Little Bit of Soul by The Music Explosion, available on our UK Records Greatest Hits collection.
