This week Dale gave us the Top 20 for the week ending 4 November 1965.

At number five: "It's Good News Week."

Cue detailed history of Hedgehoppers Anonymous and nothing about the bloke who wrote and produced it.

In some quarters this would be considered a Stalinist rewriting of history...

Yes I spotted that too MC MC - the BBC now happily admit to rewriting the truth (10cc; see other thread) and avoiding mentions of crucial ingredients (lying by omission).

It's the George Orwell world of history.

We've turned Big Brother into a cuddly crap "reality" TV series and chosen to ignore Orwell's brilliant original satire.

Ahh yes. But Trotsky didn't have the Internet to post his video blog and sneak past the custodians of Truth (aka Tabloids).

The mass media now exists outside of the controlling establishment. Getting to people who can make up their own minds and not just hear an hysterical one-sided rant.
