BBC and Top of the Pops 10 Years, 3 Months ago

I have today written to Tony Hall, current DG at the BBC, suggesting that, if they persist in this disgraceful BBC editorial decision not to screen episodes of Top of the Pops introduced by innocent man Jimmy Savile (unless of course it's been officially decided by British judges that people are now deemed guilty unless proven innocent) and by innocent (of the majority of charges) Dave Lee Travis, not to mention shows featuring other perverts like me, John Peel, Gary Glitter, Michael Jackson, Sir Cliff, Rolf or any others of the accused, bemused, confused and unused stars of past decades - at least they could use footage of some of the acts and hits in those censored shows in new shows looking at the music and styles of those times?
Pointless? Oh yes. But it keeps me occupied.
