If this was a male pop star, for example Tom Jones planting an unwanted kiss on say Miley Cyrus or Taylor swift, that act would be considered an assault and he would likely be investigated by operation yewtree, or similar. The press would focus on how creepy this was, like they were with John Travolta's more gentle kiss on Scarlet Johannson.

Why is it so different for Men than women. I'm sure that it's just as unpleasant for a man as a woman to receive a full-on snog from someone nearly 30 years older.

What do you think actually happened, Robbie? It is confusing because although they claim it was unplanned it looks to me as if it was rehearsed but then something went wrong. Maybe a full on tongue instead of stage kiss? Or she had eaten garlic?
