Only played it once - but loved it. I suspect that when I listen again in a little more depth I will discover even more beautiful music/

Anyone who hasn't heard it yet - just Track 1 (a vocal-only version of "Because") should convince you.

I still havent bought it, as at this time of year, it is allways wise in middle age to leave gift options up.

I've just heard it and don't want to hear it again.

If you're a big Beatles FAN then you'll probably love it.

An interesting idea but not that interesting. It's all very good but not as good as the originals. They've done a a worthy job but a job that didn't need doing. This is neither improvement nor advancement.

A good stocking filler for somebody's gran.

Re: An amusing novelty... 18 Years, 5 Months ago
...and a teaser for the re-masters. If they have recordings this good why are we still listening to the rather average 1980s recordings?

But I think the clincher is that these tracks, however clever (and they are quite clever), are not actually better than the albums. I've been listening to Love since Tuesday morning and I'm spending more time with the originals.

It's worth a tenner of anybody's money though... and it will introduce some of the kidz to the greatest band of the last 50 years.
