There's a copy of the
full WMG 4th quarter report in PDF across on the
Record of the Day website and what I would love to know is what the breakdown of their digital revenue is like.
The linked PDF doesn't go into that detail..it just gives a one lump figure for digital recording and publishing revenue.
"Digital revenue from Music Publishing amounted to $7 million, which represents 5.5% of total Music Publishing revenue for the quarter."
"Recorded Music digital revenue of $97 million grew 106% over the prior-year quarter and represented 13.3% of total Recorded Music revenue"
Any WMG employees out there willing to chip in even ball park figures?
e.g. what % were catalogue compared to new music, what % was full album downloads compared to individual track sales etc.?
