Live Aid - 30 years on 9 Years, 11 Months ago
Live Aid was 30 years ago today, 13th July 1985. The biggest and best concert that there has been and probably will ever be and the bbc don't seem to be doing anything to celebrate the occasion.

What do you expect them to do? The rights clearance issues remain a nightmare.

Tory propaganda, the fact that she is still alive today, means they have done something, she also probably got paid a hefty fee to say how poor she is. Band was what it says on the tin, a band aid to deal with the immediate problem. For longer term changes you need governments to intervene and a change in attitude that it isn't cool to have lots of children that you can't afford to keep.

Its a bit of a cheek to say "Sir Bob needed to do more" He doesn't needto do more because it is not his responsibility.
