Bay City Rollers reforming 9 Years, 8 Months ago

Well at least 3 out of 5 of them are reforming. I was only primary school age the first time around, so don't remember them, however I'm aware that the hysteria surrounding them was massive. They weren't great singers or musicians, but they had a few decent pop songs like "Shang a lang", "Bye Bye Baby", and "Saturday Night", and "Keep on Dancing" which was produced by JK.

Horrible manufactured bore band. As pleasant as having your ears filled with shortbread. And all of that tartan! At least they didn't resort to bagpipes.

There was a different Lead Singer (Nobby) when I produced them and I sang all the Backing Vocals on their first hit (Keep On Dancing).

My one record (45) by them was after Les McKeown had left and were just called The Rollers.
'No Doubt About It' sounded more like Toto. I found it in the 50p box.
Personally I love the bagpipes but I don't think they would fit with Bay City Rollers music. I'm happy to leave that to Roy Wood.
