2006: Greatest Hits: the Vernon Kay-fronted show was watched by 2.5m viewers.

ITV1's recent run of Friday night ratings success came to a gringing halt at the weekend, with music show 2006: Greatest Hits attracting less than 3 million viewers.
2006: Greatest Hits, fronted by Vernon Kay, was watched by 2.5 million viewers and attracted a 12% share between 9pm and 10.30pm, according to unofficial overnights.

The ITV1 show was up against Have I Got News for You, hosted by Rob Brydon, and Jennifer Saunders comedy Jam and Jerusalem on BBC1.

HIGNFY attracted 6.6 million viewers and a 32% share in the half hour from 9pm, while the third episode of Jam and Jerusalem drew 5.1 million and 26% from 9.30pm.

Then BBC1's 10pm news bulletin was watched by 4.4 million viewers and attracted a 24% share.
