The music industry isn't quite what it was in my day.Unless they're able to show a big list of what they've done and with who (NAMES please), an impressive number of Youtube/Soundcloud etc streams and an equally impressive number of Facebook/Twitter etc fans, I doubt they'd be taken seriously, being exceptional doesn't seem to be that relevant these days.
