Pithy comments too... is this an effect of Christmas?

Thank you for doing these middies SBPI, it lets me pass for somebody who knows what's going on.

Oh and to answer your question... TV viewers do have taste, it's just very bad taste.

We should not forget though guys, that to get a true new hit and break it, the tune/act has to appeal to people that don`t like music as much as we do.
I like three songs in that list, and own two of them in my personal collection which is not a bad average for a middle aged man reading a current chart.
But I must agree with Cat in many ways, we all knew whoever won X-Factor was bound to be number one in December back in August. You simply cannot compete with exposure/advertising like that.

I find it interesting that all the press are saying it sold 200k downloads in the first set of mids, and yet it had only done 88k, and I saw the mids yesterday when it went up by 8k to 96k, nowhere near 200k at all. Shops are saying it's sold 100-150k in there as well. I dont think sales are that good for a show watched by 13 million people, but it might crawl to a million sold eventually.
