Tomorrow the big day for FAB Chart 18 Years, 4 Months ago
Now the X-Factor has ruined the "official" Christmas chart, I'm looking forward to the Christmas Fab Chart. It's not about sales or money or big corporate manipulation - just music and fun. The way it should be.

I wonder if Rob Harding can hold on, or if it'll be Peppers Ghost or Celine Dion - or maybe someone completely unexpected.

If the airplay this week is a (x) factor Cat, it`s quite nice if Rob holds on, one more week.
On many search engines, when you search for "Rob Harding", you now get dear old Rob as opposed to his namesake New York composer and arranger.
"Whiter Shade of Pale" has been in the news again, as well don`t forget.

Cliff may storm in at the last minute

I hope Rob keeps the No1 spot, but if he doesn't I hope he's fun and enjoyed himself.

Well, I have one more day before I start my hols, it`s nearly 2 am, and I have had another e-mail about Robs` airplay on a BBC regional station.
It would be lovely to end my last stint of the season, proclaiming the "Fab number one for Xmas" as I finish tommorow, and playing it, before I leave before a rest.
Good luck Mr Harding.
Top of the Popes!
What fun it has been , whatever happens.

Well, he`s pretty delighted still though Zoo and Cat, and has just rang me from Cornwall, where he is spending Christmas.
I must say, I thought it would be Cliff as well, but the number one in the Fab chart, is by a top act and they have a very bright future. They sound great on all their stuff, including the non Xmas one.
I would say, "more charts like these please interweb", but I think its more fun to concentrate on the eccentricity, and ecclectiveness of the Fab one.
I do hope the fun loving Tipsters are e-mailing their ideas over to whoever runs the chart.

Oh well. Rob had a good run, and I agree that Peppers Ghost sound pretty good. It's amazing how many talented unsigned bands there are compared to the talentless acts that get signed (coughs and tries not to think of x-factor)

Right now I'm watching TOTP2 and there is Mud with their FAB Chart hit.
