Well I rather like the Malloys (who once had to put up with a lot of stick for daring to post on here)... if they were less obviously punk derivative and a little more 2007 subversive, and if the songs were fractionally stronger, they could happen.

I like the tracks personally, but I have to mention the eighties feel and look is almost nostalgic, re "Bobby".
Onto "the Malloys", which at first look, don`t appear to be in the right thread, but I find them relevent by comparison to "the Bobbys", once again 80`s in style but current lyrics this time.
I find myself looking back at a decade in which "Johnny Hates Jazz" lined up against the last rantings of the "Clash".
I think this is ok actually.
