With the current injury list in the England cricket squad, this could actually be a good thing.
But could the bones be reconstituted into a fast bowler that can last five days in searing heat in India?
Now there is an amazingly short line between cricketers and musicians, (which you do not see with footballers), cricketers and musicians , both share a very high divorce rate , due to touring, and a lot of the time have to supplement their income, as they do not work all the time.
What a joy it was to see, Matthew Hoggard, get the Man Of The Match award in India, his prize being a 150cc motorbike which he then circled the pitch with, and ironically, after fielding in a crash helmet, veared around the pitch on his new bike, with his hair blowing in the wind!
I recently read Andrew Flintoff`s biog, and every chapter appears to end with a line similar to.."and then we had a couple of beers"..
Cricket is the new rock and roll!
Mr Cooks bones? .......Nah...

Actually Mike, what occured to us, was how the heck will he get the motorbike home?
I assume he will auction it for a charity in India.
This is all good natter on this board, we have managed to introduce cricket as well as food, and the continuing music, new, and old threads.
Unfortunately, JK, has failed to start a baseball thread.
More USA contributers are required I feel, and if anyone could explain the rules of this game to me I would be grateful!
