Check out the Yellowire Mix

This is where you hear the hits first!

Kinda rough around the edges. Has a spontaneous feel - and a strong chorus.

Yellowwire mix very good , the other one being put first on the site meant I actually nearly didnt bother to play the superior version, that said I know which venues I would play the Manhattan one in a set and which ones not to.
A hit definetly, I like it a lot.
As for the marketing?hmmm
Well I`ve asked the audience and I think I will now phone a friend!
Very good indeed, I like lyrical puzzles a lot, but I often have to stand back and realise that most of the buying public do not.

A straight for the throat, say what you mean song.

I would play the radio mix if I had a show at the mo, but the club mix in the evenings at gigs.
A lot of unofficial club mixes come my way, of major hits, and they hold the floor,(any DJ who tells you they don`t is a liar) whereas the radio versions would often clear it.
I like this song, and both version ideas have already been covered prior to release and potentially illegal mash ups.
Push push push and watch someone take take take!

Great song... but who is the artist?

I love it.

Point taken Michael and whilst I agree that the audience rarely dances to a lyric, consider "I Will Survive".
That song fills the floor on the strength of its opening lyric every time.

Excellent tip.

The two versions fit very well in with their intended audience. They've done a good job there.

It will be interesting to see what the lyric "Gay boy" provokes, Mary Whitehouse will be spinning like a top but I don't think the world cares anymore

Will it not get radio play in case it offends gay people? Hope not - it's too much fun.

We`ve just put this track to our little forum here after devouring masses amounts of food( quelle surprise)!, and we reckon the song being sung by a female, sounds like a mocking tease which could be it`s downfall.
I do love this tune a lot, but the hit in our opinion, is the correct male artiste , proudly singing "I`m A Gay Boy", and a few other lyric changes to fit with those lines.

Great tip though, and I hope my comments are noted by the authors/producers/owners of the work.

The dance floor will be fuller in any club, be it gay or not, with people putting their hands in the air proudly being gay, in jest or in truth, than finger pointing and mocking, which is what this song could provoke.

That all said , that ones still a hit in my book, but the final version is not here yet.

How does this Tipsheet board find these smashes? 18 Years, 3 Months ago
I have a feeling we'll be hearing a lot more of this as we did with No Tomorrow.
There is no other filter board which finds hits like this.
Where on earth do you come across them?
Tipsheet A&R rules.

must admit I didn't go for this one at first. However, on a second listen I really like it. Not sure whether or not the public will get it, but time will tell.
