Was all a bit Radio 2 for me, nothing too exciting. the Fratellis was as dangerous as it got.

Was hardly a family show either with jo brands hair peice doing the links with numerous sexual references. Music is purchased by people of all ages so why make the award ceremony off limits to children with 'risque' MC's in fact it would have been more radical to have John Inman as MC.

Finally as the industry is changing will we be seeing an unsigned band or a true indie band playing or even receiving an award next year? Or how long before we do?

I think the only way you can get a true indie unsigned band at the moment is pluck one from the pavement without listening to them first and stick them on the stage to see what they sound like, sadly.
