FAB Chart - the bottom 10 revealed 18 Years, 3 Months ago
The new FAB Chart includes numbers 11 - 20, showing JK at no.19 with Silver Stoat.

After winning last Saturday's BBC phone vote it's no surprise that Libera go straight in at no.2 with Sanctus. Maybe a bit classicy for some popsters, but I think it has mysteriously uplifting qualities.

The other new entry in the top ten is by Blue Number Nine. A slightly jazzy piece called Like We All Do.

Eliot Corina rightly holds on to the top spot. I read on his myspace that he'd be interested to hear from producers, etc. who can help him take his music to the next level.

There are also three new entries in the bottom ten. Rock'n'Roll Winter by Wizzard at 18. Just The Girl by The Click Five at 15, and Hazardous by Micky at 14.

Intrigued by Wizzard. I think i am right in saying that song was still hanging around the BBC chart in february when it first came out.

Ooopppsss - I should have been a bit more patient and waited for the lag between posting and appearing to catch up before my FAB post

Yet I am glad I did because of the Sanctus entry, we've both rated it independently which is rather interesting.

It really does have something going for it - which I would have never have thought in a million years. Usually I hate that sort of thing but this time it's spot on.

Ahhh Wizard
- can't you hear the raised voices of a million parents demanding to know "What is THAT!"

Oh for the days when pop actually moved people.

Yes, I think Roy Wood has a December tour for life, I scrolled through the Youtube page and found a live video from 1994 with Roys all girl brass section that a friend of mine has worked with and raved about.
Great stuff.

No access to the FAB Chart this afternoon. It seems that all the Tripod sites are down. I hope this is sorted by the weekend when I'll be needing my FAB Fix.

On the subject of Roy Wood, I saw him in concert about 5 years ago, with his all girl horn section. Wonderful performance. He's still got more to offer than many of the newer acts. Nice to see a wide age range in the audience, all having a real cool time.
