Can the prices be really justified, they say don't go get many royalites from Spotify or Deezer etc. Surely high ticket prices are going to put people off.

Ralph Mctell saw him live in Folkestone about 5 years ago tickets was roughly £21 with booking fees, so now he is going to the same town different venue at cost of £30 including fees. Ten years ago I saw Clannad for that price and that was expensive but worth it and I paid to see Status Quo for the same price and felt ripped off.

Julie Felix tickets have been the same price for about 15 years.

I'm seeing Go West soon for the second time and the prices are £25 inc fees which is average along with Formally of Bucks Fizz (missus choice).

I hate having to buy tickets ages in advance. How do I know if I will feel like seeing Ralph McTell or Status Quo in six months time?

Bucks Fizz is not until the end of the year. We still got to get accommodation and fares together.

Go West is a wedding present.

I bought tickets for John Leyton I was looking forward to it but when the day came, I was not in the mood only gig I have missed.

I saw "Formerley of Bucks Fizz" in Horsham last November. They were playing to a backing track, which I always find a bit disappointing. I would rather pay a bit more for a proper band.

42nd Street was priced at £65 but I got mine for £84 - fair enough, last minute.

Was it good though ? I know they preform with a backing track but then again so do many modern pop artists do these days.

Good point....they are just happy puppy pop group with sex appeal, strong songs and vocals.

I wouldn't mind seeing David Van Day live for the sake of it.
