I think the top three are Belarus, Germany and The Netherlands, although there are several good songs in the competition. Most of them are better than any of the ones we had to offer in MYMU.

No doubt people will continue to gripe and whine about Scooch being selected as our entry, but it's what the public voted for and we all just have to live with it.

Now that I've heard the others I think our chances are slim to nil. However, I'm often surprised by the results of the Eurovision, so who knows.

My money is on the Ukrainian entry. Although I ws half asleep when I was it so I could be very wrong.

Scooch won't fail utterly though - my prediction is Top 12.

Having spent time in a few other European countries I know that the Eurovision is seen by many as pure entertainment, as is a lot of music, it's only really the UK who think all music should be cool (probably inherited from the US). It

Well, last year I backed RUSSIA and Dima at 60-1.
It came second and was clearly the best song but Lordi's magical and fun performance just pipped it.

Like when I chose Just A Little Bit - still, for me, the perfect Eurovision entry - and we only came 8th.

Haven't heard them all yet but, despite the cynicism of the Swiss entry ("Monsters won last year - let's do Vampires!"), I wouldn't bet against it. Fun video too.

Belarus is the best bet for a safe top 4 place. Will be having a little bet on Switzerland. They have to be very careful with the staging of it though. If they get it wrong, it will look ridiculous, and will crash and burn.

I loathe Ukraine with a passion, but it does worry me. It will unite all lunatics, people of no musical taste, and those who deliberately vote for the worst song. I'm sure there are plenty of them. I've had a small go on Malta at 90/1 with Betfair. A good outsider.

As for UK, a bet on last place could be worth a go.
