Musical Relief - The Proclaimers 18 Years, 2 Months ago
I can't help but think that The Proclaimers are to benefit more from Red Nose Day 2007 than all the 'charities' that the appeal set out to help.
On the back of the success of Brian Potter & Andy Pipkin's remake / copy of their annoying track '(I'm Gonna Be) 500 Miles' a new 32 date UK tour has just been confirmed for the band in October / November (playing much better shows than the band have played over the past few years).
Please do us all a favour and disappear back into the wilderness as quickly as Tony Christie did!!

Have to say went along to see the Proclaimers a few years ago expecting them to be terrible, but came away a fan.
Seriously, these guys have written some of the best songs ever and put most of the NME indie bands to shame. Anyone who hasnt seen them or heard the album tracks should check out their backcatalogue

I've been following The Proclaimers career for a good few years now and it is great to see them continuing to release albums and do extensive tours. They seem to have a huge following in Canada and US now which is a huge achievement in itself. I am pretty sure they are financially settled too
