Just heard "People Help The People" by Cherry Ghost, another great song. Can't find a link for it though, sorry.

It's not bad, and has certainly had a lot of airplay, but there's something a little amateur about it that I can't quite put my finger on.

The singer sounds rather like Guy Garvey from Elbow...in fact, the whole thing is rather Elbowesque.

For me, there's too much going on in the music production-wise which makes it a little cluttered, and there's not a great deal in terms of hooks.

As I said, it's not bad though, and as Zoo said, it's a good tip.
