Surprised and delighted to see Suzi Quatro storming in at Number One with a new song, and sounding as good as ever. Love the free jazz bit at the end.

Ben Mills also has a fairly good song in at 14.

Sign Of A Man is an unsigned band in at 17, showing promise. Make me wonder just how many good bands out there remain unsigned compared to the rubbish that does make it.

Jesse Cook is in at 17 with a bouncy guitar instrumental especially for Spring.

Highest climber is Per Kristian Risvik with his version of the Dr Who theme.

Good news for the tipsheet is that Mart and Kamloops both continue to climb.

I say this every week .... Another good FAB Chart.

I`m delighted to be in a chart with Suzi and Kamloops.
Both of which lovely people I have actually met, the former on a plane back from Hamburg of all the bizarre things.
We got chatting as I refused to put my bass guitar anywhere else on the plane except hand-luggage.

It`s Easter, and lobsters are a bit hard to find this weekend!

xx

I enjoyed Jesse Cook's new entry Dance Of Spring - don't think I'd want an album of it though.

Sign Of A Man didn't grab me. Done nicely enough but nothing particularly different.

Ben Mills with Beside You, started well I thought. Interesting backing vocal. Lyrically a bit predictable. For me it's one of those songs that inclines me to listen to more. If it was a 3 track demo I would certainly listen to the next tracks. Interesting and has the seeds of something.

Oh Suzi Quatro what isn't there to love about this trooper? A very Suzi song full of fun. If you're willing to just let your hair down and sod everyone I bet her gigs are a great time.

I'm glad it was she who knocked UnEntitled off the No1 - it was going to happen and who better to do it

Hang on... I see Suzi is playing in Cornwall! What is going on with bloody Cornwall?

Glad to see Laughter Time creeping upwards - Hat-trick time... Matin, lobsters and Cornwall

A beautiful lobster on that site on your linkee Zoo, but as a new reborn carnivore, I know there is not not enough flesh on it to feed us all!
Is Sue Quatro married? She has less than two weeks to reveal this fact or I`m a taken man!

Alack and alas...

"Quatro married her longtime guitarist Len Tuckey in 1976. Although they had two children together (Laura in 1982 and Richard Leonard in 1984), they eventually divorced in 1992 and she married concert promoter Rainer Haas in 1993."

It`s a nightmare to get to from here though Cat, I lost over 200 quid on a gig in Truro that paid us

I used to live in a place called St Cleer which is just near Liskeard in Cornwall. I'd spend my summers on the beach at Looe. Does this count towards the Cornish connection??

Ah! And did anyone work out that Eden Feat Martin K is named after the Eden project?

Good enough for me

I went to holiday in Cornwall... tho actually we were in Devon but on the way to the beach (All of 300 yards) we crossed the Tamar.

The Replicas another Cornish lot doing very nicely - try Hours

BTW Mart, how do you know that the lobster at Matin's Cornish fish isn't 6 feet long? Could be plenty to eat

I`m afraid I can actually tell by the thinness of its limbs Zoo!
Sweeter flavour and they nip less!
