Unfortunately, our collection is in five seperate bookcases, an entire lounge floor and the back end of the office floor!
Oh and a pile on top of the computer tower!
I noticed on a John Peel documentary, he appeared to have built shelving system out of industrial mecchano.

I use a steel cabinet to hold mine - so far the shelves aren't bending but what it's doing to my floorboards I don't want to know.

A couple of years a go I tried to find a bookcase... the flimsy nonsense that masquerades as this is unbelievable.

My brother uses one of those mechano typre racks for his vinyl, but he has far more LPs than me. My bookcases are mainly home to my 45s. I collected thousands while I was doing my hospital radio. Occasionally I try to thin them out, but as I go through them I remember stuff and decide I can't possibly let go. I'm enslaved by my vinyl.

On that subject, one of my favourite B sides is "West Of The Mountain, Esast Of The Sea" by Rainland. The A side was the very unimpressive "Jane's Not Talking". Has anyone else

as I was saying before I accidentally posted before I'd finished .....

has anyone else got a 45 they keep specially for the B side?

I just looked on google and the Rainland 45 is apparantly a bit of a collectors item now.

Thats a thread in itself.

The best B side ever.
Hmm it needs a list actually, I shall give it some thought.
