CITY SHOWCASE 2007 revealed 18 Years, 1 Month ago
CITY SHOWCASE this year promises to be an awesome event.

Line ups are being finalised this week but I can reveal that

MONDAY 4 JUNE - KOOPA headline one event ( for those of you who have yet to see them live - remember this is a free event ! )

TUESDAY 5 JUNE - THE JACKSON ANALOGUE headline another event and again this band have already won rave reviews after their Mean Fiddler show at The Borderline and are well worth checking out.

FREE tix are available for these gigs and others on the City Showcase site. The last few years have been very successful with a very high hit rate for the acts showcased. Essential to attend for anyone in the industry without having to buy any expensive passes.

PS

Should have mentioned that SCOUTING FOR GIRLS are doing an acoustic set on Tuesday evening at ISLINGTON BAR ACAD which is a couple of minutes away from THE JACKSON ANALOGUE which means as long at times allow industry could hit both FREE events

Opening for KOOPA is the hotly tipped to win the "Emergenza" competition this year MCGOOZER btw on the Monday night showcase.

It should be possible for industry/fans to see over 50 acts during the week without any charge at all.

There was a great piece in the Evening Standard last night about London being THE place for bands to play.

Tickets are FREE from www.cityshowcase.co.uk

A few of the bands have some representation but most are not signed and most do not have expensive PR teams like the majority of "in the city" and "great escape" and other festivals.

Also you have to realise the majority of events are FREE which means sharp eyed music fans can get to mix it with everyone else and see bands free for a week. Good bands I might add in the best small venues which would usually cost around
