Right, may I kick the ball off?
I missed whoever was first.
Second was Spain. Forgettable. Might have meant something 20 years ago.
Third was Belarus. Interesting leg gestures. Started off sounding David Arnold-like and ended up worthy of a Shane Ritchie cut. Btw whatever happened to that project (Davic Field)?
Fourth was Ireland, which sounded very Irish. And I respect that. But I can't remember what it sounded like.
Fifth was Finland. Whose lead vocalist also sounded very Irish. And Evanescence-like. Which I respect less.
Nice to see dumb blondes are not entirely a product of this nation. Who was that woman and what was her point? Is her point. She came across sounding like the Finnish Jade Goody. Not good!

Just while I am falling in love with the Russian entry - two of which looked like Posh Spice and the song was delivered in the tone of I'm Not That Innocent, but I am sure Russian Playboy beckons -and posting to myself, I just want to put up my hand for the Georgian entry. The first unpredictable song of the night. Tips a nod to Bjork. And very good it was too.
Achtung! Handez-hoch! It's the German entry. Dressed in white, it's the German Will Young...
I'm afraid I wasn't taken by Hungary's answer to Pat Benatar JK!

Ukraine's entry I think will win. Sandwiched up against the UK's, I think it only further emphasised how weak our entry is. Not even a patch on the Venga Boys. And that is a damning comment!
Mind you, Romania seem to have turned out the cast of Eastenders, or their equivalent, for their entry.
So, it could be worse,...

Having sat through that .... umm .... show ... I think my top 5 have to be Germany, Lithuania, Sweden, Russia and Ukraine.
On the night Belarus, my original favourite, performed quite feebly.
I now await the result.
