I'm for the latter. I don't understand how someone who has the following against them:

Paper-thin, insubstantial songs

Lousy production

Even worse image

No discernable talent whatsoever

Can, in 2007, be staring down the barrel of a top ten single. What am I missing here? Enlighten me, someone? please?

Checked out some of the videos. Torn On The Platform was the best of the few. Reminds me of some stuff around in the late 1970s - bit of Jam, bit of XTC, etc. Probably sounds quite fresh to todays kids. there is nothing wrong with his songwriting ability. I like his "screw the image" attitude, his energy and his honesty.
