I'm sorry but I refuse to believe there are 10,000 people looking at this site and your performance on Alexa.com does nothing to convince me of otherwise. Your claim of 10,000 readers, is it because you can't read your web stars, or is it just another myth building exercise? Well - not a lurker - my site servers tell us that's the average amount of visitors we get; I'm sceptical about Alexis and the other web researchers; every time I check we have three figures viewing - that's 100 upwards.

That's any second of the day.

At peak times we cross into four figures.

So 10,000 a day makes sense to me...but what do I know?

Alexa will only record visitors using the Alexa toolbar it is not necessarily an accurate indicator.

It's 17.35 Sunday afternoon; Nadal and Federer are 2 sets each, battling like crazy and there are 176 visitors to this site AT THIS MOMENT.

Now I don't know what that means, how many are permanently logged on, how many are repeat viewers or what, but if 176 people are reading now, 10,000 a day seems sensible to me.

love Vinny Vinny to bits. You're right, they do need a bit of polish at the edges, but not too much. I love their honesty and passion for getting on with the job of playing music. And they've got themselves some great gigs to further hone their live act.

Bloody great tip and cheers. I'd love to produce 'em...something there in the voice.
