TOPIC: The media loses the plot
#21219
The media loses the plot 17 Years, 10 Months ago
Any tabloid reading this site (all of them) will have known Timbaland was the new No1 from the midweeks yet they all carried huge spreads saying "Could Kate Nash knock Rihanna off the top?".

Bollocks. But, of course, "it's a good story".

Now Kate looks shit because she didn't.

It's all falling apart innit?

Reality Check

Re:The media loses the plot 17 Years, 10 Months ago
What an arrogant load of toss from the constantly deluded, permanently pompous Mr. King!

CLinging on by his fingertips to whatever credibility he has, he consistently and constantly misjudges current events, and always allows his monstrous ego to get in the way.

The plot has been lost only by...Jonathan King.

In reality, Kate Nash very nearly stole the number one slot from under Timbaland's nose. According to Alan Jones in Music Week, Ms. Nash was but 16 sales short of being number one.

As for "any tabloid reading this siite", pleae note that only TWo posts were made in the whole of yesterday (30th).

Harsh truths, and would the lily-livered webmaster dare post these truths? I doubt it but if not, I will re-post the whole thread on a much higher profile board, and reveal his censorship to the wider world.

Stay lucky...it's all you have.

Yes RC, very few posts at present on all Music Boards.

However, our Your Views board seems loaded with posts and comments.

It seems the Music Industry is on holiday - or giving up.

Your pro tabloids and Kate post implies you think it's all very healthy.

I wonder who's deluded.

People post less when it`s sunny RC, too busy out reading tabloids and shark hunting on the beach.

Interesting to note - 435 viewers have read the thread but only a handful posted.

Don't confuse readers with posters RC. Most tabloiders are lurkers - it's quite enough effort for them to put down their lunchtime drinks and copy a few hundred words from a previous story without asking to post on here!

Delighted you can break the habit and bother to contribute RC.

Main point fair - Timbaland was leading in the midweeks all week.
Nash is hype. I guess RC is one of the hypers.
Other key point - sales are so massively down it really doesn't matter anymore.

Well here we go again REALITY CHECK - all week the dumb tabloids stoked by bad PR said Kate Nash would be No1 THIS week and again, our regular midweek figures showed Timbaland staying at the top and it looks like, indeed, we were right again!

Yet those tabloid writers read this board several times a day.

Perhaps THEY should have a Reality Check?
