Now thats an interesting chart.
Mainly because of the choice of Elvis tracks.
Those two particularly seem to hint at the youth element buying them, none of the white suited Elvis much discussed along with the word "why?"

I doubt that !

It's be the "old brigade" who already have the tracks at least a dozen times.

Aren't they milking the catalogue (as most of it is out of copyright very soon).

I know lots of kids who are into Elvis, and some who have just picked up on him during this anniversary. Yes, kids are buying Elvis tracks.

I was wondering about the Elvis effect. Kids don't actually tend to like or buy songs their parents like but the current generation possibly haven't had much exposure to him due to their parents generation rejecting Elvis cos their parents like him!!??

So to today's kids Elvis is new and not something their parents liked so they can do?

Or maybe I just think about things too much!!

You can "over-analyze" Vince !

There are of course some people who buy things JUST BECAUSE it's in the charts !

When I was a kid I just liked what I liked. I never thought about whether my parents liked it.
