I think this being the Record of the Year at the Grammys represents all that's wrong with this century's music industry. An average Bruno Mars album track. It sounds like the Stylistics on a bad night, on Autopilot.
Better than Dave or Glass Animals, at least there's a tune. It is very out of date for sure, same same the Eurovision entry. The business (the business people) cannot be in touch because they don't understand today's listeners. How can they, some are older than most modern listeners parents?
I don't mind the AGE thing; I'm older than most listeners' GRANDparents. I think the problem comes because today's executives cannot hear real, cross over hits and so only cater to specialist fans who like and buy second or third rate examples of the genre from lazy artistes who have nobody to listen to!
