Though it's done well. From their website you can join their "WolfClub" and get a little booklet and a badge.
Their email newsletter is done well too. It's written as if the band have done it and it's brief but with good content.
It conveys the feeling the band are actually talking to you and builds a "personal" relationship nicely.
It's a good campaign that used the Internet and old fashioned Royal Mail well.
It will be interesting if they can stay in the chart.
(Regarding the website I tried to link but it won't work! They have the same problem, the "Home" button malfunctions - scoutingforgirls.co.uk/ - the idiocy I encounter with some websites makes me despair)
Decent enough but still think out of the new crop of indie bands "Air Traffic's" new single is the stand out track - NO MORE RUNNING AWAY - with a superb video which is getting heavy rotation on MTV2 and is already all over Radio.
The drumbeat sort of reminds me of "Never let her slip away" - anyone remember that track ?
I agree BR, but they are unlikely to make a mark on the singles chart with 5 of the 11 tracks on the album now available on singles.
It does make for quite a commercial cracker of an album, like commercially "Thriller" by Michael Jackson did,6 worldwide hits from 10 tracks on that one.
