FAB Chart - it had to happen 17 Years, 9 Months ago
Luciano Pavarotti a new entry at Number One with Nessun Dorma. A fitting tribute to a great vocalist and human being.

I'm really liking The Foreboding at number 13. It's different and cool.

Adam and the Go Comets have a fairly nice pop song at 16. Maybe a bit early 90s, but still better than a lot of stuff on the market.

Spirit Of Soundz bring a touch of quality reggae to the chart at number 19.

As expected David William has shot upwards, being held off the top by Mr P, leap-frogging the young prot

Spirit Of Soundz was good and I'm not that partial to reggae.

Autumn rain just makes me think Leonard Cohen is far better.

Didn't like Adam and the Go Comets, they do like their guitar-pop over at the Fab - certainly a lot more than I do.

Pavarotti quickly in the chart - the best thing about that is Mart can say he lost a number one spot because Pavarotti died.

Pavarotti may be hitting the note but I don't like the noise he makes - heard a bit of him from the late 60s or early 70s (I think) and it was the one time I "got it".

A well deserved placement.

I haven`t checked the whole chart yet today, too much sport on TV and a gig to do!
Will check later.

Quite like "the Adams", didnt like the doo-doo bits, it sounded rather like they had forgotten the words at those points, but a nice concise tune and a very nice voice indeed.

Spirit of Soundz , I wouldn`t mind having a crack at recording them, there`s something there naturally and it`s not being brought out enough.

"That" Elvis tune, is going down a storm still at gigs, I`m starting to feel like we are going to be remembered as "that" band that covered "that" Elvis tune with a rap in it!(actually a most frightening evening including a guy who introduced himself as being in a band I produced 16 years ago!)

Good fun chart as allways, here`s a tongue in cheek linky for all those that missed Elvis in the Fab Chart this week:cheer:
