Assuming this was already aired in the UK the "comeback" opening appearance of Britney Spears
was one of the truly sad things I've seen in the last
few years. Reminding me of one of those pathetic scenes
in "Valley of The Dolls", the poor thing was out of shape and not wearing an outfit that would make her look better. She moved as if she was moving through
molasses and she chose to lipsynch, but couldn't get in a groove with the audio tape.
The looks of embarrassment and sadness from her peers
sad it all.
I think it's time for her to step back for awhile, concentrate on raising her kids and think about what
she needs to do to re-emerge.

She looked like a performer that had been off stage so long, she had lost her natural charisma.
She certainly has lost her energy.
Badly chosen clothing as well.
Shame.

What natural charisma? She never had any!

Ok, I`ll rephrase that.

She abondoned her image.

It was a rather feeble and pitiful performance. The song she mimed to was bloody awful and her lack of interest suggested to me that the whole Britney Spears machine has passed its sell by date.

If she really is the great talent we are all supposed to believe then she should be reinventing herself. Instead what we got was same old same old and it just doesn't work anymore. She appears to be stuck in a timewarp.

It's time for a complete change - ditch the dancing and dancers, ditch her producers and writers and do material that's not only more suited for her age but also ditch that vocal style shes' been using and prove to the world she can sing LIVE - to hell with her beloved lip synching. Basically she needs to grow up! Otherwise, she is just going round in circles and through the motions making herself more irrelevant and trivial.

Britney Out of shape ?

That is one of this world's most damning indictments. That we consider Britney (post baby) out of shape because she has put on a few kilos. She didn't look fatter than Rihanna did she ?

If she was black no one would have dared to say that, they would have celebrated her 'baby body'. Why can we not find women with curves attractive in the media ? It is only because the media wants white women to be stick insects to feed the evil that is the fashion industry with its exploitation of models resulting in the creation of eating disorders amongst young girls. Aretha is size 20 plus is she 'out of shape' I don't think i have heard this mentioned about her. On the contrary, black women have a history of being loved whatever their size and those particular darts won't wash.

So Britney mimed, big deal. She was erratic, um she has been erratic for weeks now and was probably pushed over the edge by the sick comments made by that complete fool of a hostess. The whole 'evil' media have turned on her with that comment 'out of shape' and more and why ? Because they want to tip her over the edge that's why. From what I saw she was nowhere near as bad as how they describe and it reminds me of the attempts to destroy Joss Stone. I'm sorry JK but you should know better than to swallow this line particularly with the way the media treated you.

It is like the media are waiting for the news that Britney commits suicide. Dare i say many have already written the headline and are waiting with glee for it to happen.

Britney needs help, she needs love and support and as far as i'm concerned that's what she'd get from me but the vultures are circulating ready to diss and destroy her and if i was her and i heard the disgusting comments made by that buffoon of a woman i would have decked her and knocked her out. Calling Britney's children as mistakes is unforgiveable and shows that pandering to the morally bankrupted fools with pens in their hand is the biggest mistake an artist can make in this day and age. It is like dining with Lucifer without the spoon.

One more thing, it is not too disimilar to how Emile Heskey can do nothing right and the boo boys with their modern 'monkey chants' will always write something nasty about him.

In the months leading to Diana's death we heard nothing but criticism and bile about her and once she died these same murderers wrote how she is the 'queen of hearts' and a whole lot of platitudes and praise. Diana is dead because of the press and Britney is also a mess because of the same people.

Gutter snipes that's what they are.

I, personally, would kill to have a body as sleek as the current Britney Spears, HOWEVER, we are used to her being sleek and toned and the outfit she chose to wear merely excentuated the fact that she hasn't lost all her baby weight. IF she'd worn a one piece outfit I'm guessing we would have thought she looked adorable.
HOWEVER (again) her stumbling about the stage in a
clumsy fashion, missing her cues and her step, staring out into the camera with decidly glassy eyes when she knew everyone would pick on everything she did was just
plain stupid. If I had anything to do with her career
I would have made sure she looked as perfect as possible, learned her song and dance routine until it
had military precision and not allowed her near a drink for days before.
That's just me, but hey, what do I know?
