...oddly enough both from the same bill in Covent Garden Sunday night.

I haven`t listened to the recorded versions yet, but live it was a tremdously fun and well executed show.
The only question I was left with, was the subject matters chosen by the band to much like home truths to the listener as to not be sellable?
People only laugh at their own silly genralized behaviour once.(Or in Wierd Als case, thrice)
The second tip, and I don`t believe I am the first for a minute, are the superb, the Alice Band.
Vocally and lyrically, rather like Tori Amos and PJ Harvey, having a polite discussion that turns into a fight.(no link sorted as yet)
Both very well self imaged acts, Alice can stop a room talking at ten paces by looks alone, and Playgrounds promotion packs, and tour bus, have to be seen to believed.(the pictures painted by their faces whilst performing are brilliant too, I have never seen a lyric sung by a guitarists eyebrows before!)
Well done to the Gardening Club in Covent Garden, that was one serious bill tonight.
Faith in live tipping/scouting restored.
(You guys can do the studio listens first, I`m off to bed!)
