Hard to avoid aggression and aggressive types these days. What is it with people?
It seems that things got worst during the plandemic. There was a group of youths yelling insults to a short lady with a cane waiting for a bus minding her own business. Calling her "Crip" etc whilst trying to destroy the bus shelter. If I had intervene I would of been outnumbered by 7-1 or knifed.
I was no angel at their age, but I always respected my town and the people where I lived. (Behind every door there is a story)
My friends and I never insulted or swore at random strangers or destroy bus shelters etc. If we hanging around the woods after dark we ended making up tree houses whilst drunk or sit around a campfire and all fires were put up.
If we had to fight it was always one on one and bare knuckled. No ganging up nor weapons even was allowed. That was the unwritten rule.
My mates and their mates would form a circle and cheer. If you were knocked out or laid out the fight was over, no going back and hitting a man when he was down. If you tried there be a circle around the individual. I won some and lost some.
You might of gotten a handshake afterwards if you put up a good fight and the dispute was settled. Normally a punch up was the last resort, most things were settled verbally and you learnt to leave people alone.
If we were told move on we did no arguing etc. Tubs, used to try and chat up the old ladies, he thought old women were loaded with cash. He wanted a rich widow...he never did find one!
