Early orders from fans seem to have been paying more, no real surprise there.
People downloading it free via Limewire etc suggests this is an adapted behaviour not a conscious avoidance of paying.
A guess at 1.2 million downloads in week one - apparently more than the 3 previous releases combined.
Anyone know if this means they've earned more?
So the fans will pay and some free/stolen downloads are the place some people get their music from.
It will be interesting to see how concerts and merchandise perform.
Prince did well enough giving his CD away.
