here in Manchester about to attend the ROTD show - I think all their rather small staff are here busily doing their thing.

But there is a surfeit of juniors and lack of exec stars here this year. And we all miss Anthony W.

Complete lack of comment says it all. A couple of views on here, a couple on the record of the day board (and they sponsored the damn thing) - no buzz, no excitement.

I havent gone for years but a friend who was there said it completely reflected todays industry, dull, boring, registered people simply ligging it, awful give away rubbish, no remarkable groups or stars of tomorrow. Most of the bands simply pale imitations.

Its not just the big labels that are dying. Its the indies and smaller ones too.

I wanted to hear I`d missed out really badly actually.

sadly ITC seems to have outlived its usefullness....and have heard nothing about anything this year.....the official list was very anon. and the showcases seemed to lack the buzz of some years previous.

The "new model" is being created - but where is it >?
