Just finished a video for my song:
"You Make Me Happy (When You're Not Here)"



It's for a YouTube competiton so it has a wierd little voiceover at the beginning, but the rest is the final cut. Very happy with the end product.

Current situation: Started my own label to promote myself but ultimately looking for a publishing / recording deal as an artist in my own right and as as songwriter for others.

Well here's a different set, really enjoyed that Dan, nice one!

Well done Dan, very good and a well timed relevent post on the main topic of threads this week.
Two minor points only.
The song does need a re-recording and mastering(low Myspace bit-reate taken into account) and personally I don`t like the Carly Simon reference, whilst it is the polite way to borrow a line , I felt it was a bit overstated in the context of a pretty bright and original work.

But, minor points as I say, very good idea, well executed on a budget and a future possible hit.
Much disscussion here about the work.

I can see the vid getting played on TMF a few times, if they get to know about it. Can't say the song did much for me, although I can still remember it now it's finished (unlike Leona's), so that has to be a good point.
