Who are you going to blame for that one Amy?

This is painful. Who let her on stage in this condition?

The thing is without Youtube, this is the sort of "legendary" performance that only goes down in history in print and does not arrive produced and packaged with our morning post.

There are 2 major points here to look at.
1st;
If this was a glimpse of a new act, what would you all think?

2nd, as it is not, who the heck is getting her rehab so very wrong?
Pete Doherty seems to have made major steps by busying his brain this week, but until his obsessive and addictive personality turns full time to creative work he will not have won the battle against his illness.
Amy is being pushed out time and time again and is blatantly in a rut.
This is madness and shame on anyone who thought and thinks she was/is ok, they obviously do not understand the problem, merely mock it.
A great talent but we are currently only seeing sketches of what might be.

BOLLOCKS!

She's clearly totally sober, never misses a note and is sending herself and everyone else up.

She hits the choruses SPOT ON every time (and with the right words), her eyes are bright and clear, she is in absolute harmony with the backing singers and is obviously doing a Stanley Unwin to provoke exactly this outburst.

I suspect it is the artistic "being bored" syndrome - singing the same old words again and again gets boring. So she fucks around a bit. Experimenting with the sound of vowels instead of singing the same old lines.

Has everybody checked their sense of humour in at the ticket collecting booth?

Good for her. She's no blonde beauty so she's taken the "pretend Judy Garland" route.

I have only one thing to say about this.
Amy Winehouse is terribly overrated and quite frankly not worth another second of publicity.

I had taken the Bollocks Factor(great name for a show, how does Saturday night prime time sound?) into account and I agree she never missed a note, but I suspect the mic technique gave it away, failing that it was a nightmare to fix from the desk, which could have left her pretty inaudible.
I do agree if you have something to send up as a selling point , go for it though.

Funny, nope, chilling yes, and that is entertaining and a good thing and answers my first question, if she was unknown, you would take a further look.

Interesting though, a good old "too stoned and vulnerable for this world singer" act had not occured to me.
I shall ask Mr Doherty, if by chance I bump into him at the gym;)

I adore Amy KZ and this clip makes me admire her even more.

At last we may have created a truly original talent.

She really is a waste of space. Singing consonants might help, Amy...

Very overrated in my opinion anyway. Hvaing the braying vocal tone of a sheep doesn't do it for me. She also has no stage presence whatsoever and always looks so uncomfortable on stage. It's pretty obvious she's still using...whereas Doherty's actually clean for once.

Joking aside, you might possibly have a point. Remember Nirvana Live on MTV? That must be one of the most shambolic, embarrassing excuses for a show ever seen. If ever a singer was bored with the routine and out to make a point of it, it was Kurt Cobain. A few months later he was dead.
