Definetly a band not to be dismissed on first listen, a lot of thought in the arrangements that are so well played that they could drift in and back out of the average ear.(careful there)
Paul Simon, yes, but the influence goes as deep as his own was in making the Gracelands album and the one that followed it.The Bhundi Boys themselves leapt out for me.
Very clever precise playing and witty lyrics, well timed as well, they could have well slipped in and out of the ourskirts of the mainstream a couple of years back but could well crack it absolutely massively global by next summer.
Top drawer all around and very possibly a big hint to the surprise crossover that has been missing for so long.

Oxford Comma came up first which I enjoyed for a while but soon got bored of, I think the arrangement needs building as the song goes on to keep it interesting.
APunk was more exciting but I did find the solo voice hard to hear lyrically and felt it might need a bit of fattening.
I see what JK means about Cape Cod, very Paul Simon. Not a bad song though, but again I found myself getting bored.
I guess the verdict is "good but not ready". The productions need some attention, needs more vocal performances and possibly some of the songs need attention if they're not keeping my interest.

I'd echo K, but a little warmer. They might not be ready yet, but I like the unusual arrangements and semi-acoustic groove. They make a change from most other bands out there.
