A bit repetitive PBS

Almost as repetitive as 'Who Let The Dogs Out'.

It's not a bad track, PBS. The vid's obviously low budget, but so are many others these days. I checked out 'Whispered Love' too and that's very simple but imaginative - love your kaleidoscope effects and, for me, 'Whispered Love' works better than Supercat.

Tipsters seem a bit tight with giving opinions on tracks and vids in recent months. Maybe it's a long busy season - although there's always time to post about food.

I'll give you 3 stars for this one, PBS. It's almost there. 4 stars for 'Whispered Love'. Keep it up.

Actually I did watch it, but I`m knee deep in writings this morning.
I preferred the peacefull nature of the original and found the synth clashed with the graphics.
A bit too bright for me this morning, but I have had only 2 hours kip.

You're right about opinions Cat - views remain massive with thousands visiting and reading every day but posts are thin (as they are on ROTD and Velvet Rope apart from the normal moan or trivia ones).

I fear that people are getting uninspired by music.

Somewhere in the vaults of this forum I believe, is a piece I wrote about a national daily`s contribution to the Radiohead review rush that was a couple of weeks back.
On finding of the thing, assuming it is here, I have an amusing related story.

Not surprised when it's bad as this! Akin to some shite music off a bad late 80s computer game.

It is a bit 80s but it's not actually that bad. I prefer your Kids on Rainbows track, but I've noticed your name mentioned on Asian forums and it seems your instrumental stuff is more popular over in China and Japan, etc. than here in The West. Is that a market you were aiming for?

There might be room for some jazz keyboards over hard electronic music. But this isn't it. Very linear music, overall. The video is like a standard VJ mix of visuals.

This track has had a mixed reaction. While a lot of people on this side of the globe tend to hate it, I have sold quite a few copies in Asia, as you mention. I'm not sure why it's popular over there, but the world of music is varied and takes all kinds.

Meanwhile, my Kids On Rainbows track is more popular in the West, especially in America, but hasn't been rated much in Asia. I do tend to get a bit experimental at times and it can be difficult to fit me into a box. I'm a bit of a non-conformist, but I do love Jazz, which creeps into quite a lot of my tracks.

Thanks to everyone who responded, even to those who thought it was awful. If I couldn't take negative criticism I wouldn't be making music.

Keep up the non-conformism. My comment sounds awfully dry in retrospect, more than I intended. Maybe you should try brushing up the jazz chops. But it is very hard work getting them right. It's one field where it's hard to fake and no-one wants a second best. Marc Moulin (ex-Telex) is making a good career out of making jazz more palatable. Not really what you're trying to do, admittedly.
