Just went for my 9th COVID booster. Drove as Uber so unreliable these days. The St Charles centre mainly staffed by volunteers most as old as me and all mad as a box of frogs. Us Patients moved through slowly. I get allocated to a nice man whose computer isn't working properly. Waited 20 mins whilst several others tried to be sorted. Eventually switched to two nice old ladies (why two? One couldn't work the computer so one did keyboard; other did needle). All very nice - all mad as hatters. Finally emerged - car just had parking fine of £65 - only a few quid more than a taxi there and back so who cares? Trouble is Congestion charge and that other stupid daily charge means add £30 to that. Life is not easy in 2024.
